Trinity Preschoolers visited Murray County Medical Center on February 6 for some frosting and sprinkle fun with sugar cookies for Valentine’s Day! Each child decorated five cookies and took some home in a box to share with family and friends (maybe!). February is Heart Month and Paige Moser, PA-C, talked to them about heart health and they explored the makeup of blood with a sensory activity. The red water beads are the red blood cells that give us energy, the ping pong balls are the white blood cells that make us better when we’re sick and the platelets are the red pieces of foam that stick together and stop us from bleeding when we get a cut.
