Artist and designer Judy Ostrowski has practiced the ancient art of henna for more than a decade and is the owner of Mehndi Moon Henna. Judy will be at the Slayton Public Library on Tuesday, July 11 at 2:00 p.m. This program will include a discussion about the history and culture of henna art, followed by the application of creative temporary tattoos on those who attend.
Henna tattoos are non-permanent body decorations that are applied with an ink paste and last for a few days or weeks. Each piece of body art is individual and unique.
This program is free and open to teens and adults. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
