United Way of Southwest Minnesota is a 100% antonomous, local non-profit organization that focuses on human service needs of people living in our service area. We work to create lasting changes in people’s lives by working with dozens of local partners and internal programs to deliver results. Our service area is Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Yellow Medicine and portions of Cottonwood, Lac Qui Parle, Nobles, and Redwood counties of Southwest Minnesota.
Some of our programs are: Stuff the Bus School Supplies, Student Emergency Fund Grant, Imagination Library, Wild about Kindergarten School Readiness Kits, 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten Reading Program, GetConnected Volunteer Platform, Born Learning Trails installed in Currie, Fulda and Lake Wilson.
