Following the big win against the Chargers on Tuesday, the Murray County Central Rebels volleyball team hosted another conference opponent on Thursday, September 21.  The Fulda Raiders made the trip from the south side of the county to Slayton to take on the Rebels. MCC was ready to compete as they defeated the Raiders in three sets.

The Rebels and the Raiders started out evenly matched in the first set before MCC started on a run that gave them a comfortable lead.  The Raiders served the ball out to give the Rebels the opening point before a kill put them up 2-0.  The Raiders crawled back to tie the set at four points a few plays later, but the Rebels began their run to gain some room on the scoreboard.

A couple kills, an error on Fulda, and an ace serve propelled the Rebels to an 8-4 lead before the Raiders got a point back on a hit out of bounds.  From there, the Rebels continued with their attack and quickly went up 17 to eight before the Raiders slowed down their offense.
