After a dominating win to open the playoffs, the Rebels advanced to take on the fourth-seeded, Red Rock Central Falcons. Earlier in the year, the Rebels had a hard fought battle that went five sets, but the Falcons took the close win in that contest. This match was no different, other than it only took four hard-fought sets for the Falcons to defeat the Rebels.
The first set went back and forth the entire length of the set and neither team gave an inch on letting their opponent gain a lead. The Rebels had solid defense along with strong hitting at the net to keep with the Falcons. In the end, the Falcons had the two-point advantage and won the first set, 25-23.
Both teams continued the battle into the second set where this time the Rebels took the lead late. Despite needing extra time to determine the winner, the Rebels stood their ground and took set two, 26-24.
