The MCC Rebel girl’s season is quickly coming to an end with playoffs just over a week away and the Rebels having just three games left in the regular season. The girls have a chance to win each of their last three games but they have to defend well and they must find ways to score. On Tuesday the Rebels hosted the Ellsworth Panthers. MCC beat Ellsworth earlier this season in Ellsworth and were looking to do it again. The Rebels celebrated parents night and senior night as well.

MCC dominated the glass on their way to their second win of the season over the Panthers.

The Panthers led for a very short time early in this game but it didn’t last. Devin Dreesen and Ashlyn Meester led the Panthers in scoring as both netted double figures in the game. Dreesen connected on three three-point shots plus another trio inside the three point line. She had a good night from the free throw line as well. Meester scored all of her points inside the three point line. The Panthers, much like the Rebels, don’t shoot for a high percentage. That means it puts a premium on rebounding.
