The MCC Rebels are getting ready for the stretch run of the season. With just a couple of weeks left, the Rebels will be taking on some of the top teams in the area and some of the teams who have struggled. Each win is very important for different reasons. On Friday the Rebels were playing host to the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen, a team that has failed to earn a win all season. Edgerton is the only team in the Red Rock Conference who has not posted a win this year and MCC didn’t want to be the first.

The Rebels played this game smoothly. They didn’t have a big long run that blew your doors off. Instead they played a very consistent smooth game. They Rebels jumped out early extending their lead throughout the first half. They were again led by their back court in the first half. The Rebel guards played very well last week with Nate Everson the catalyst in the two games. Everson made three three-point shots in the first half leading the team with 11 points.
