The “Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest” is sponsored each year by the local V.F.W. Auxiliary 6322 for students in grades 9-12. It gives students a chance to express their patriotism in the form of art. This year there were 21 entrants from the MCC School. Stop by the Slayton Public Library between now and May 19th to view the artwork in the community room.
