Cassandra Weishaar has accepted an open position as a Special Education teacher alongside Linda Swanson at West Elementary. She will be teaching students at the second through fourth grade level.
Weishaar is from Blair, Nebraska, where she graduated high school in 2009. She continued her education at the University of Nebraska, Omaha, with aspirations to become a nurse. Midway through generals, she switched her major to education. She graduated college in under six years with a major in elementary education, kindergarten-sixth grade, and learning and development, kindergarten-twelfth grade. She then completed her student teaching in Blair and Bellevue, Nebraska, earning experience with general and special education.
