The Minnesota State Fair came to an end last Monday and in doing so finished another busy summer for 4H members, FFA members, and livestock farmers from across the state. The Minnesota State Fair once again set an attendance record for overall attendance while setting four individual day records. For many attending Minnesota’s Great Get Together it’s all about food, rides, concerts, and fun. For those who provided livestock and exhibits it’s so much more.
The Minnesota State Fair was attended by 1,943,719 people this year. It would be interesting to know how many of those people understand just how much work goes into the many exhibits on display during the 12 day event. Many competed for trips to the state fair in 4H but not as many realize that they have open class shows for livestock and FFA shows.
