Mildred Redenius – Obituary

1925 – Mildred Louise Redenius – 2018

Mildred Louise Redenius, the daughter of Chris and Anna (Lamp) Hass, was born on April 12, 1925, in Brewster, Minnesota. She grew up in Brewster and attended school. Mildred was united in marriage to Lester Redenius in July of 1943 in Fulda, Minnesota. After their marriage, they lived on a farm near Fulda for 51 years. They moved to Revere, Minnesota where they made their home. Lester passed away in November of 2006. In December of 2007, Mildred entered the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda where she passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018, at the age of 93. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. Mildred help raise her grandson, Matthew for six years after his mother’s death. She enjoyed cooking cook, especially pies; baseball and loved raising Persian cats.

Survivors include her two sons: Steve (Delilah) Redenius, Huston town, PA and Norman (Lana) Redenius, Worthington, MN; two grandchildren: Matthew Redenius and Rebekah Redenius Eide and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Ronald Redenius (1968 during Vietnam War); grandson Jonathan and daughter-in-law Diane.

Funeral services will be at the Totzke Funeral Home Fulda, MN at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018, with Doug Buntjer officiating. Interment at Cemetery St. Gabriel’s Catholic Cemetery Fulda, MN. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda.
