The MREA recently announced four nominees for 2016 Educators of Excellence. Among them is Murray County Central’s very own Brenda Whitehead.
“The honorees represent an inspiring group of educators who have positively impacted students and student achievement, shown leadership in their school and community and helped bring about new and innovative practices in education,” said Fred Nolan, executive director of MREA and former teacher, principal and superintendent in Minnesota. “Through this award, MREA seeks to recognize, reward, and promote excellence in education that achieves the highest outcomes for Greater Minnesota students.”
