The tulips will burst into bloom this week. It’s been a long time coming.
May is pet month and it is also the year of the dog. Armed with that knowledge I casually brought up the subject of getting another dog. I had it all planned out, artfully picking each word for a very sound discussion on the value of having a four-legged friend looking over the homestead every day. I was brilliant in the presentation, I thought. I was wrong. In twenty seconds, I received twenty reasons why we are not getting another dog. No room for discussion. It is painful with the thought of going dogless. I will bring it up again in a few weeks, it might fly. Or I might be flown.
