Well, we got a little rain over the past week to keep us happy and have a good chance for more this week. It was the best part of an inch for us and more in other areas. Now we can mow again.

The Nobles County Fair is over and it was a good time. There was a few days that were pretty warm but otherwise a great time. This Wednesday, the Murray County Fair starts and offers fun and entertainment that will please the family. We will also have a booth there so stop by and say Hi.

Many of us chose to ignore the primary election but will have to make those hard choices in November which is not that far off. The next two months will offer some additional information on those competing on the main stage. It will be difficult for the party faithfuls. The rest of us will muddle through.

“Has your son decided what he wants to be when he grows up?” I asked my friend.

“He wants to be a garbage man,” he replied.

“That’s an unusual ambition to have at such a young age.”

“Not really. He thinks that garbage men work only on Tuesdays.”

Never consider yourself less than anyone, though never consider anyone less than yourself.
