Pete and Krista Beerman have been busy over the last week or so. Beermans are the new owners of the coffee shop formerly known as The Vine. When they open this Friday, March 10th the Plaid Moose will have a new look.
Beermans wanted more of a woodsy warm feel so the pillars and entrance will be transformed to give it more of a log cabin atmosphere.
The couple have also changed coffee and will be proudly serving locally roasted Coffea Roasterie coffee. Their goal is to serve the Slayton area with unmatched service, a delicious menu, and a comfortable environment.
This space is divided into two rooms, one with smaller tables and the coffee bar and next to it a larger room. This room will have more seating for people to relax, study, and just hang out. Their delicious menu items will include sandwiches, soups, pastries and other delectible delights, as well as offering ‘Plaid Moose’ coffee mugs and shirts to promote the store.
