Fulda/MCC cross country compete in Olivia at BOLD Invitational; Girls finish second, boys place third

The Murray County Central cross country team made the trek to Olivia last Thursday to compete in the BOLD Invitational. Fortunately, the weather cooperated and Mother Nature didn’t rain down on them. The MCC/Fulda girls came away with a second place overall finish amongst the seven teams racing. The boys earned third place as a team with nine teams racing.

Morgan Gehl turned in a fine time of 19:10.87 easily beating out the second place finisher Grace Feder (20:28.56) of Gibbon Fairfax amongst the field 48 runners.

Next through the chute for MCC/Fulda was Ryanna Schreier finishing crossing the line at 21:52.19. Both girls earned medals for their top ten placing. Josie Harms made her way to the finish line and clocked a time of 22:43.66 for a 14th overall placing. Faith Bose was not far behind earning a 18th overall spot and sporting a time of 22:58.47. Four places later (22nd) Khloe Gehl finished the race in a time of 23:32.13. Emily Kathman (29th) rounded out the team and finished the race with a time of 24:06.37.
