The Murray County Historical Society is hosting their final Front Porch Music Series Event for the season on Thursday, August 3 at 7:00 p.m.
The event will showcase Kordal Kombat, a group of four young men who are really making a splash in the Barbershop Harmony Society and the a cappella music scene.
Their performances and achievements have taken them all over the North American continent. This group represented the Land O’ Lakes district of the Barbershop Harmony Society in the 2013, 2014, and 2015 International Collegiate Barbershop Quartet Contests, where they placed as high as eighth in the world.
By day, they’re a property manager, an electrician, a music teacher and a college student; but by night, they’re an unstoppable wave of musical energy!
Murray County Central and Slayton native, Scott Veenhuis, sings lead with Kordal Kombat and they deliver a fun, high-energy performance that comes with a variety of great music and lots of laughs for all ages.
The Murray County Historical Society will serve popcorn and lemonade during the concerts and a free will donation basket will be passed during each concert to help pay for this great entertainment as well as ongoing updates to the Dinehart House.
