Tarry Boelter, retires
By: Sheila Crowley Murray County News Staffwriter Tarry Boelter will be the first to tell you his career isn’t about him, it’s about his students and players.

Tarry Boelter has served the school district for the past 30 years. This year, 2014, marks his last day in the classroom and MCC baseball field. This milestone couldn’t go un-noticed.

High School principal, Mr. Meyer, recognized Boelter during the graduation ceremony on Sunday afternoon. He began by having anyone who had ever had Mr. Boelter as a teacher or coach stand. Approximately a quarter of those in attendance rose at this calling. Meyer continued talking about the distinguished career Mr. Boelter had. He said, “You have touched the lives of so many people during your 30 years of teaching in our district.” And concluded by thanking Mr. Boelter for his many years of service.
