lose to Red Rock Central Falcons in playoffs


The MCC Rebel Girls Basketball team wrapped up their season last week with a pair of games against the same team. The Rebels ended the regular season with a road game in Lamberton against the Red Rock Central Falcons. They later played the Falcons on Saturday in the Sub section quarterfinals. With seeding’s taking place the week prior the Rebels found out they were the #5 seed and played the Falcons, who were the #4 seed in the opening round of the playoffs setting up this back to back game situation. The Rebels first challenge was on Monday night.

The Rebels played their second game without center Morgan Behrends whose knee injury kept her out the final two games of the season. Monday the Rebels came to play and both teams fought hard with the Rebels rallying to match the Falcons size inside and their hot shooting from the outside.
