with loss to Wolverines
The Rebels and the Wolverines were doing the two step in Slayton. Monday night the Rebel girls played Mountain Lake Area in Slayton and on Tuesday it was the boys turn. MLA boys basketball is one of the top teams in the state with a 20 and two record. The Wolverines needed a win over the Rebels to clinch sole possession of the Red Rock Conference title. The Rebels on the other hand were looking to play for a bit of pride on their home court and to go into the playoffs on a good note after two lack luster performances against Adrian and Pipestone the past week. The Rebels did get what they were looking for and the Wolverines got a pretty good scare.

The Rebels tipped their hats to the four seniors on the roster who all started the game on Tuesday. In their final home game the Rebel seniors would get the team off to a good start with some hustle and hard nosed play.
