Morgan Behrends reaches out for a rebound in the first half against the Wolverines
over Mountain Lake Area Wolverines
The MCC Rebel Girls were back on the floor Monday Night against the Mountain Lake Area Wolverines. The Rebels have not played their best basketball on Monday nights but the Rebels won last week on a Monday against Ellsworth and this game was big for the Rebels confidence. MCC was heading towards seeding on Wednesday and needed a win. More importantly the Wolverines didnít just beat them earlier this year they destroyed the Rebels, leading by over 35 points at one point and forcing the running clock. The Rebels won a wild and crazy game in one of the more entertaining games of the year.

The first half started slowly as both teams struggled to score in the first nine minutes. Neither team shot the ball well and foul trouble on key players limited playing time for Rachel Dukes of Mountain Lake Area. MCC had three players in foul trouble and most of them were the post players. MCC dominated the glass for this game. In the first half they outrebounded the Wolverines by nine which helped the Rebels get 12 more shots than MLA.
