BIDS CLOSE MARCH 18, 2014


Sealed proposals will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Murray County, Minnesota, at the Murray County Government Center, County Auditor, 2500 28th Street, Slayton, Minnesota 56172 until 10:30 A.M., March 18, 2014 for the following projects:

SAP 051-601-013 - from W County Line to TH 91

SAP 051-604-028 - from W County Line to West City Limits of Chandler

SAP 051-624-005 - from S County Line to CSAH 1

SAP 051-634-012 - from CSAH 2 to TH 59

These four projects are all tied together in one Contract.

Major quantities of work include:

Aggregate Shouldering Cl 1 16,160 Ton

Type SP 12.5 Wearing Course 31,950 Ton

Striping 291,357 Lin Ft

Mill Bituminous Surface 1,342 Sq Yd

All bids shall be made on forms included in proposal and shall be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond, made payable to Murray County Treasurer in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, which security becomes the property of the County in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract and post satisfactory bond.

The proposed contract is subject to minimum wage rates set forth by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry and incorporated into the Specifications. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities and irregularities.
