Saturday will be starting the winter season. No doubt the easy days will be over now according to the grand scheme. The days should be colder and the snow will be deeper. Instead of a 15 mile per hour wind, considered a calm day, it will go to thirty MPH. A good day will be when you open the driveway and it won't drift shut before you can get your vehicle down it. No, we are not complaining, just trying to understand it. Our ten day forecast does look promising with temps up to twenty degrees with a few days colder. A wind is scheduled for Friday but no new snow to amount to much. Merry Christmas from the weatherman.

This year I have promised myself to do my Christmas shopping early, which means by this Saturday. It will help to not wait till the last minute which will release some of the holiday pressure. My list isn't so long that it will be much of a problem. Speaking of presents we have one under our tree which was delivered last week. It's in a roll wrapped in plastic and all it says is 5x8 and it's from India, I'm thinking Magic Carpet although five by eight doesn't sound like the sports model you see in all the flying carpet promotions. It may have something to do with all the extra weight it has to lift. Hopefully it will include a drivers manual for first time flyers. There is available a list of parts to build your own magic carpet, it calls for a bolt of netherweave, golden draenite, arcane dust and heavy silken thread and some instructions on how to summon the rug. It's possible I'm getting ahead of myself so I will wait until Christmas before opening it. You never know, it might not be the color we would like.

Merry Christmas to all of you. Enjoy the season. Don't miss an opportunity to spend some quiet time with those you love. Again, Merry Christmas.

Have a good week.
