Funeral services were held at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church Fulda, MN at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 with Fr. Andrew Vogel officiating

Phillip Cosgriff, the son of Stanley and Cecelia (Whalen) Cosgriff, was born on May 26, 1924 on a farm near Fulda, Minnesota. He grew up near Fulda and attended St. Gabriel's Catholic School and then graduated from the Fulda High School in 1943. Phillip then entered the U.S. Army and served during WWII. After his honorable discharged he lived in Heron Lake, Minnesota then moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, Tupelo, Missouri, Waukegan, Illinois, Roseville, Minesota and then returned back to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area where he retired in 1990. Phillip passed away on October 4, 2013 at the Unity Hospital in Fridley, Minnesota at the age of 89. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He enjoyed painting, golfing and ballroom dancing.

Survivors include his brother Bernard Cosgriff and twin sister Patricia Blum. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Cecil, Stanley, Martin and Vincent and three sisters: Mary, Stella and Irene.

Funeral services were held at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church Fulda, MN at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 with Fr. Andrew Vogel officiating. The organist was Mary Ann Boom. The song leader was Sheila Crowley. Interment at St. Gabriel's Cemetery Fulda, MN. The Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda, MN is assisted the family with arrangements.
