The MCC Rebels were back at home for the second time in as many games Friday night in hopes of starting the season with two wins. The Rebels won a close game against Lac Qui Parle Valley the week before using a handful of big plays to get the win even though they were outgained three to one in yardage and had the ball for about a third of the game. On Friday, the Rebels hosted the Canby Lancers who were blown out in week one by the Adrian Dragons. The Lancers like the Rebels are a young team with lots of inexperience but on this night the Lancers defensive game plan was to much for the Rebels.
