Recipes for Steak Fajitas; Four-Tomato Salsa; and Chocolate Zucchini Cake
James and Amy and girls were here for a couple of days vacation. As with most families it is difficult to find a time when all can take a few days away from their busy schedule to vacation. All three of the girls play softball, on different teams, there are band lessons, Bible School, etc. along with James’ work at Grace College where he is the food director and Amy’s daycare and now a new job at the college. This week band practice starts for Riley and it is very intense with hours long practices for marching band and rehearsals. She does get phy ed credit for it however. The college students start returning for football, volleyball, etc. therefore the food service is up and running for another year. I was grateful to have them around for a bit to do some of the outside work that I can’t handle. On Wednesday we had a family picnic for those that could make it. It gets more difficult all the time to get everyone together at one time.
