1938 - Alice Wixon - 2013

God blessed Leo and Frances (Reinsma) Kepler with Alice Joan on May 14, 1938, in Slayton, Minnesota. Alice and her siblings grew up in Slayton where she graduated from high school in 1957. Later that year, she met Forrest, the love of her life, at a roller skating rink. From that first meeting, she knew he was the one. After a few more dates, and a lot of butterfly feelings, they were married on September 20, 1958. An adventure began. Through the years, she and Forrest enjoyed dancing, traveling, hunting, fishing, water skiing, motorcycle riding, flying, amusement parks, gardening, playing cards, cruises and so much more. The only thing that Alice took more enjoyment in was the time spent together with their five children. After raising her children, she loved to shower her grandchildren and many other children with unconditional Grandmotherly love. Alice, Pierre, SD passed away on Friday, June 21, in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 75.

She is survived by her husband Forrest; children: Dawn (Ed) Cronin, Denise (Maloy) Loof, Mark (Deb) Wixon, Deborah (Robert) Green, and Cynthia (Todd) Loecker; siblings: Vern (Bonnie) Kepler, Ruth Roeder, Donald (Connie) Kepler, Les Kepler, Phillip (Cindy) Kepler, Neva (Dave) Swanson, Gloria McMahon and Dave Kepler; and grandchildren: Patrick (Elizabeth), Michael and Meaghan Cronin, Denai, Danessa and Devin Likness, Moriah and Levi Wixon, Amanda Goglin and Matthew Green, and Jared and Isabelle Loecker. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings: Kenneth Kepler, Robert Kepler and Sandra Kepler.
