The Slayton Police Department (SPD) unlocked a vehicle at 9:45 on the morning of May 29, 2013 in the 1900 block of Maple Avenue without causing damage to the vehicle.

Report of unlawful dumping in a dumpster in the 2600 block of Broadway Avenue was received at 11:28 that morning. An unauthorized individual had deposited rubbish in the callerís dumpster. The neighbor and owner of the trash was contacted, and the trash was relocated to that partyís dumpster. The owner apologized for the mistake. Employees had cleaned up after a graduation party but put the rubbish in the wrong dumpster.

A vehicle was unlocked in the 2300 block of Broadway Avenue at 8:50 in the evening without causing damage to the vehicle.
