Recipes: Honey-Glazed Grilled Chicken; Creamy Cauliflower Salad; and Rhubarb Upside-Down Cake
Another cloudy day Monday morning but anticipation of the sun coming out soon. We certainly have had a lot of dreary days lately. We shouldn’t complain after the drought of last year but we certainly look forward to warmer days. At least all that got planted between rain showers is green and lush. I still haven’t had very good luck planting carrots although I keep trying. Any suggestions are welcome. I had a fence up for the beans to climb on, however, it must have blown over on Saturday night. I tried to put it back up but the ground was so soft after 2.6 inches of rain it kept falling over. I guess I’ll have to add some more stakes or wait until it dries up.
