compete against Fulda

Earlier in the week, the Murray County Central golf team hosted a meet at the Slayton Country Club where Fulda came across the county to compete against the Rebels. Both the boys and girls teams for MCC shot great rounds, especially the girls when they kept the score to within a couple of points.

On the boys side, Grant Everson led the way not only for MCC, but had the best individual round between the two teams. He made par on five of the nine holes, and though he bogeyed a couple holes, he was able to sink his birdie putt on the fifth hole. That gave him a score of 38 for the day, which was three shots over the course par at 35. Adam Christensen and Ben Loosbrock both went into the club house with the same score. However, the roads they took to get those scores were different. Christensen shot par on most of the holes and when he was over, it was by one shot.
