breaks 50 year old long jump record
Last Thursday, the MCC track and field team traveled to Worthington to take part in the Trojan Relays. Though the day was a bit chilly and breezy, that didn’t stop Jack Thony from performing at a record setting level.

Besides his speed, Thony has been known for how far he can jump, and has won many track meets in the long jump division. At the Trojan Relays, Thony leaped for a distance of 21 feet and 8.25 inches. After the meet was concluded, it was announced that Thony broke the Trojan Relays record that was held for 41 years by Bill Bunkers from Fulda.
