HELP, HELP! There's been a vehicle accident!

When an accident is reported to dispatch they first gather as much information as possible and then paged the first responders and ambulance crews. The police department monitors the radio traffic so they will have heard about the accident but dispatch will page them as well. Dispatch then pages the fire department.

Usually the police department is the first to arrive at the scene. The City of Slayton, City of Fulda and the Sheriff's Office have a mutual aid agreement and depending on where the accident is who needs to respond.
