Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Slayton, MN on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Doug Minton officiating. 
1919 - Faye Lorraine Sauder - 2013

Faye Sauder was born on June 3, 1919 in Roseberg, Oregon to John and Effie Wright Bryan.  Faye grew up and attended school in Missoula, MT.  Faye worked as a bookkeeper for several years in Missoula.  On October 3, 1964 she and Stanley Sauder were married at the Zion Lutheran Church in Iona, MN.  Following their marriage they farmed near Iona until 1980 when they retired and moved to Slayton.  In April 1999 Faye became a resident of the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda.  Faye passed away at the Murray County Medical Center in Slayton on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the age of 93.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Slayton where she sang in the church choir and was active in the Dorcas Society.  Faye enjoyed music, shopping, traveling, reading, and playing the organ. 

Survivors include her brother, Howard Bryan of Santa Rose, CA, one sister-in-law, Ellen Sauder of Fairmont, MN, one brother-in-law, Albert Berglund and his wife, Eleanor of Iona, MN and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Stanley, three sisters, and five brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Slayton, MN on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Doug Minton officiating.  The organist is Kathy Schwart.  The pallbearers are Dennis Meyer, Darrell Berglund, James Berglund, Raymond Sauder, Mark Meyer and Lynn Huge.  Interment is at Slayton Memorial Gardens, Slayton, MN

 Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.  Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.  To send condolences visit totzkefuneralhome.com.
