Murray County Medical Center Board Meeting

By: Dorothy Bloemendaal, staff writer

May 1, 2013

Dan Woldt resigns position at Murray County Medical Center
MCMC board chairman Robert Moline called the board meeting to order asking all in attendance to recite the flag pledge. Once again as in the past few months the board room was filled to capacity with others standing outside the open doors ready to hear the comments of the board.

Moline read a statement from Dan Woldt’s attorney stating Woldt has submitted a letter of resignation on April 17, 2013 and wished to be released from a 90 day notice. Moline continued by saying the resignation would be acted on later in the meeting.

Board member Lynn Johnson made a motion to allow the public to speak during the meeting. The motion failed for a lack of second from board members.

There was no medical staff report due to the inclement weather.

Admissions, patient days, and length of stay, swing bed, and respite care had an increase over last month. In fact all categories had an increase except MRI scans.
