When asked a question on just about any topic on the face of this earth, do you think that you will be able to listen to the question and answer it within 15 seconds? Would be able to answer the most questions correctly in a few rounds to be declared a winner, even if the questions on almost every topic in the world?

Well, one team of five students from Murray County Central competed their way through the Knowledge Bowl season and was a dominant force by doing just that. They were crowned several times throughout the season and by doing so, have punched their ticket to the state Knowledge Bowl meet where their “shotgunning” skills and knowledge will be put to the test against 23 other teams from the state.

During the course of the season, the teams from Murray County Central competing in Knowledge Bowl were divided into a couple rooms where they sparred against two other teams. Each team has to compete in three rounds and are asked 45 questions per round. The questions range on various topics and each correct answer is worth one point. Sounds simple, right? Not really.
