Coaches vs. Cancer
The basketball season may have come to an end, but the fight against cancer never ends! On Thursday night, March 21, the staff of MCC will take on the students in a competitive game of basketball in our 3rd Annual Coaches vs. Cancer event. The score may matter to some, but the real reason for this event is to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

Tip-off will be at 7:00 p.m. in the MCC high school gym. A free will offering will be taken at the doors. Nearly 20 MCC staff members have stepped up to form a team, while 30 students who are non-basketball players will make up the student team. Sanctioned referees have donated their time to officiate the game. Everyone who is helping with the event, including the announcer, scoreboard operator, and scorekeeper have all donated their time to help with the cause.
