Brooklyn Park, MN: Currie State Bank is looking to sponsor two Tracy area or Murray County Central high school student to attend BestPrep’s Minnesota Business Venture (MBV) program this summer. MBV is a weeklong opportunity for students seeking college and career direction, interested in starting their own business, or excited to meet new people!
At MBV, students work in “companies” led by business professionals who help facilitate and mentor the students. Each company develops a product idea, splits into Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams, and writes a business plan. Students have the opportunity to listen to knowledgeable speakers on a variety of topics including budgeting, philanthropy, marketing, and international business.
