Funeral services will be at the Immanuel Baptist Church Westbrook, MN at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013 with the Rev. Rob Adams officiating. 
1912 - Grace Chrestensen - 2013

Grace Chrestensen, the daughter of John and Bena Brandt Frey, was born on August 11, 1912 in Rushmore, Minnesota. She moved with her family to Lime Creek, Minnesota in 1917 and attended District 95 Country School. Grace was united in marriage to Vernon M. Chrestensen on March 21, 1932 in Dundee, Minnesota. After their marriage they lived in Dundee where Grace worked as a clerk at the Dundee Co-op. Grace remained at her home after Vernon passed away in 1964. She moved to the Maple View Estates in Fulda, Minnesota in 2001. Grace entered the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda in June of 2008 and passed away there on Friday, March 1, 2013 at the age of 100.  She was a member of Calvary Immanuel Baptist Church in Westbrook, Minnesota. Grace was also a member of the Worthington RSVP, Fulda Pink Ladies and the Dundee Senior Citizen Group. She enjoyed bowling, golf, gardening, being a Dundee Clown and volunteering for the Dundee Nothing Days.

Survivors include her son Vernon (Audrey) Chrestensen, Bloomington, MN; son-in-law Roland Neitzel, Pine City, MN; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbandand daughter Audrey Neitzel.

Funeral services will be at the Immanuel Baptist Church Westbrook, MN at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2013 with the Rev. Rob Adams officiating. Special music by Jean Nantkes and Carolyn Van Loh. Interment at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery Dundee, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. The Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda is assisting the family with arrangements. The family prefers memorials in lie of flowers. Sign guestbook online at www.totzkefuneralhome.com.
