E-Book Information/and tips
The Plum Creek Library System (PCLS) has been circulating its eBook collection for just over six months and in that time many library patrons have enjoyed the advantage of checking out the free downloadable books. To date, the library system owns 1,000 items and adds new ones every three months or so, with a new audio book collection being added later this spring.

According to PCLS Director Mark Ranum, eBooks are very expensive-much more than the price that a consumer sees listed for individual purchases.  Funds for the eBook collection are derived from member libraries throughout the PCLS system.
