Gerald Magnus appointed to Governor’s panel | |
|
Murray County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday, February 19. Congratulations were extended to Commissioner Gerald Magnus, chairman of Murray County Board of Commissioners as he was appointed to the Governor’s panel of the Greater Minnesota Advisory Panel. He will represent southern Minnesota.
Commissioner Dave Thiner questioned a submitted warrant on maintenance of a sheriff’s department vehicle. He will visit with the sheriff to discuss how often the vehicles are brought in for service and the routine maintenance.
A public hearing is scheduled for March 19 at 9:00 a.m. with a request for a new liquor license for Breezy Point. A first time license has not been issued in over 20 years in the county. The license is for On Sale, Off Sale and Sunday Liquor.
