Grid soil sampling is becoming a widely accepted practice for use with precision placement of commercial fertilizers. What about the concept of using this technology when distributing manure? The University of Minnesota Extension is hosting a workshop on using grid sampling for distributing manure on Wednesday, March 13, in the Murray County Courts Building meeting room at 2848 Broadway Avenue in Slayton.
