Rebel boys

fall to Chargers
The Rebel boys basketball team was on the road in Westbrook on Friday night where they were hoping to pick up their fourth win of the season. The Rebels lost a close game to the Chargers in Slayton earlier this season, but the team has been playing better as of late. The Chargers lack the size to take advantage of the Rebels biggest weakness. MCC has struggled rebounding and scoring this season, but with their matchup against the Chargers, the Rebels lack of size is minimal and the Chargers strengths match the Rebels. This game was a see-saw battle that in the end went in favor of the Chargers.

The Rebels got off to a quick start led by their guards Jack Thony and Grant Everson who scored on the break after turnovers and on quick transition off of Rebel rebounds. The two guards scored a combined thirteen points.
