The MCC Rebels were in Edgerton Tuesday night to take on the Eagles of Southwest Minnesota Christian in a Red Rock Conference game. The Eagles remain one of the best Class A teams in the state to this day. The Eagles beat the Rebels by forty points earlier in the year in Slayton and though the Rebels have played better as of late, the odds were stacked against the Rebels. SWC’s defense and passing is what separates them from most teams. For the Rebels, they struggled trying to contain the Eagles’ many different scorers. In the end, MCC played as solid of a game as they have all year, but still couldn’t compete with a veteran team that has won a lot of games over the years.
