The MCC Rebel girls were on the road to Fulda Friday night to play Raiders in a rematch of a game earlier this season. The Raiders won the first game by double digits in which their post players dominated. In this game the Rebels slowed down Melissa Gehl but they struggled to handle Rachel Cheadle, the 511 senior center. It was a good game with both teams exchanging leads throughout the first and second half but in the end the Raiders pulled off the win by playing a more balanced game from beginning to end.

The Raiders and the Rebels played well in the first half with Rachel Cheadle dominating the game for the Raiders and the Rebels getting a more balanced game in the first 18 minutes. Cheadle scored time after time around the basket and then converted from the free throw line late in the half. She also scored nine first half points. After an early lead by the Raiders the Rebels came back to not only lead but led by as many as seven points.
