The Slayton Police Department (SPD) was called to Murray County Clinic in the 2000 block of Juniper Avenue at 1:13 on the afternoon of February 1, 2013 in response to a 911 call. There was no emergency at the location. The call was determined to be a telephone user issue. Things were determined to be all right.
Report of an identity theft was received from the 2500 block of King Avenue at 2:08 that afternoon. The caller indicated a deceased person’s identity may have been stolen. Evidence was gathered. This case is under investigation.
