The MCC Senior High Knowledge Bowl team participated in its second meet of the season on Monday January 28th at Windom High School. Fourteen students, coached by Suzanne Bau, Murray County Central High School Science teacher, participated on three teams in a competition of 18 teams with the following results.
Team 1 – 1st place: 48 points: Dylan Johnson, Michael VanderWal, Michael Beek, Josh Weidert, Tyler Telkamp Team 2 – 6th place: 36.5 points: Katie Gunnink, Heidi Bau, Logan Kluis, Hannah Davis, Stephanie VanderWal Team 3 – 15th place: 22 points: Andy Foreman, Adam Martin, Bryce Gertsema, Michael Christoffels Students in the News; and this quarter’s honor roll is also in this week’s issue. |
