Lately, the Warrior wrestling team has had an onslaught of match ups during the previous few weeks, but this last week the Warriors had only one match. They packed up their bags and traveled to Worthington to take part in a triangular with the Trojans and the Red Bulls from Fairmont/Martin County West.
The Warriors struggled first against the Red Bulls, but also had a few individuals show improvement in their game. Clayton Hartle gave the Warriors their first win of the match in the 113 pound class. With 45 seconds left in the second period, Hartle had control of Collin Steuber and was able to get the pin call. Later, Ben Blanchette took on Levi Bulfer in the 126 pound class and Blanchette was in control all the way. Blanchette took down Bulfer right away for two quick points, and just aobut had a pin early in the first, but got three points for a near fall.
