The Slayton Police Department (SPD) assisted the Murray County Ambulance (MCA) in the 2900 block of Redwood Avenue at 12:02 on the morning of January 16, 2013 with an 87 year old female patient transfer from Golden Living Center to Murray County Medical Center (MCMC). A vehicle was unlocked in the 2500 block of 20th Street without causing damage to the vehicle at 1:15 that afternoon. Request for a welfare check on an adult female at 3200 Maple Avenue was received at 4:34 in the afternoon. SPD went to the apartment, where no one was home. The caller was notified of the findings.
