Local cake maker to provide confections

for Senator Klobucharís inauguration

When she met Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar last year at the Water Tower Festival in Pipestone, Angie Ford, owner of†Taylor'd Cakes, in Lake†Wilson,†never thought that the connection would lead to the invitation to provide some of her confections for the senator's inaugural party in Washington, D.C.,†on January 20.

Ford was at the festival's craft vendor show and Klobuchar was perusing the booths and was introduced to her by Pipestone mayor Lori Ness.†† So when the phone call from Klobuchar's office came, asking if Ford would provide four dozen of her cake pops for the senator's open house on that day, she of course excitedly agreed.†
