The MCC Rebel girls were back in action Tuesday night just a few days after their loss at Edgerton Public. The Rebels were looking to rebound and play well against the Adrian Dragons, a team that has yet to be beaten in Red Rock Conference play. The Dragons just keep reloading from year to year and they continue to win no matter how many changes they go through.
The Rebels played one of their better games of the season but the game was decided at the charity stripe and the Adrian Dragons would get a hard earned win.
The first half was a back and forth battle with the Rebels leading early before the Dragons took over and led at the end. MCC is getting great play out of Morgan Behrends this season. The Sophomore forward has been the team’s leading rebounder this season and has shown the ability to score in the paint. Behrends was the best player on the floor for the Rebels in this game as she was able to score and rebound inside.
